Access specialist PHD Group, the primary scaffolding contractor at AstraZeneca’s new facility at Cambridge Biomedical Campus, is setting up a satellite office in the UK and Europe’s leading science & technology cluster.
The move – hopefully next spring – will create 40 jobs initially, the company reveals.
PHD has earmarked Cambridge as a key growth hub for its regional expansion plans considering the potential of the developing Oxford2Cambridge Arc.
Established as a scaffolding firm in 1982, PHD offers global expertise in managing innovative access solutions in complex building environments, including in the Pharma, R & D and data industries. The group now turns over £40 million and employs 400 workers with projects across the UK and abroad.
