New Milton Keynes Village Set for Approval

Proposals to create a new village featuring 500 new homes on the edge of Milton Keynes are set to get the thumbs up from council planners.

Insider revealed that an application had been submitted by the Guinness Partnership for land at Galley Lane in Lavente Gate in December 2017.

The plot spans almost 76 acres and is located to the east of the A4146 and south of the A5.

As well as housing, the development also comprises a primary school, a local centre and open space. Of the 500 homes, 40 per cent would be affordable.

The plans have been recommended for approval ahead of a Milton Keynes Council planning committee meeting next week (6 September 2018).
